Meet the Aerogarden 3


I am way behind on postings for the newest member of the Aerogarden family, the Aerogarden 3!

It is supposed to have about the same footprint as a coffee maker, and that seems about right. It will even fit under my kitchen cabinets, that were too low for the original AG.

    It's so tiny! How big is the reservoir on that? You might have to top it off every other day.

    At this stage, the plants aren't drinking too much water. I have only added a little sip after one week. I will see if I can find the capacity figure.

    What are you growing in it? I heard it's too small for lettuce or peppers and that's what I'd really use it for.

    It was supposed to be a gift so I opted for the Mountain Meadow kit with twinkle phlox, gypsophila and calendula flowers. AeroGrow does have salad greens (0353-00Z) and jalapeño pepper (0351-00Z) kits for it! Should be on their website, look for "Vegetable Seed Kits" for the "Aerogarden 3" (I've included product #s in parentheses).
